If the saying "you can't judge a book by it's cover" is true, then package design is the exception to the rule. Packaging and label design is everything. It's a make or break first impression. Either the consumer is going to gravitate to your package or not. And in the highly competitive retail world where shelf space is at a premium, there's no room for error. Eye catching designs, innovative shapes and materials and functional construction are all elements that help attract the eyes of the consumer and entice and persuade them to purchase your product instead of your competitors.
