The BRIEF
U P D A T E D
Some agencies call it the 'creative
brief'. Some call it the 'communications
brief'.  Others call it the
DESIGN
BRIEF
. Whatever it is called, it is the
most important document that starts
the creative process - it is the
foundation to the creative process.

Like many small businesses, Bolinda
Publishing
had never used design
services in its 20 year history. But the
return on their investment has far
exceeded the company’s
expectations with sales jumping 200%
in the first two years and continuing to
climb.

New Zealand
The new curriculum was launched on 6
November 2007 following one of the
most comprehensive consultation
processes undertaken by the Ministry of
Education
The New Zealand Curriculum:
TECHNOLOGY
Graphics and other forms of visual
representation offer important tools
for exploration and communication
.

Each learning area has its own
language or languages. As students
discover how to use them, they find
they are able to think in different ways,
access new areas of knowledge, and
see their world from new perspectives.
For each area, students need specific
help from their teachers as they learn,
for example:
- the specialist vocabulary (
language)
associated with that area
- how to read and understand its texts
(
visual presentations)
-
how to communicate knowledge and
ideas in appropriate ways
