Design Challenge
The Packaging Council of Australia
(PCA) is the national industry
association of the packaging industry in
Australia. For over two decades it has
conducted packaging design Awards for
both tertiary students and industry.
The PCA is now offering the first
opportunity for all Australian primary
and secondary students to join their
Awards program
.
This challenge encourages young
people to research issues to do with
packaging in our modern society and
produce innovative and creative
designs in response to current issues
and problems.

RESULTS:
LAW WEEK POSTER
COMPETITION
The results of the competition (see
NEW PAGES, November 2007) are now
available.
The winner (1st Prize $500) was a
student at Lauriston Girls' School. The
design has now become the  official
poster for Law Week.  Lauriston Girls'
School also received a prize of $200.
A selection of entries will be exhibited
at the Magistrates' Court of Victoria,
Melbourne  (cnr Lonsdale & William Sts)
during Law Week 12-18 May
Please note the 2009 poster
competition opens on 1 July 2008
when
the theme for Law  Week 2009 is
announced.  Please be sure to keep a
look out for updates at
www.victorialaw.org.au/lawweek
