A written response, supported by visual material, that
describes and analyses contemporary and historical
examples of visual communications

a PowerPoint presentation supported by visual
material and speaker's notes

You will need to demonstrate the ability to:

   describe how the use of materials, methods, media, design
   elements, design principles and final presentations
   communicate information and ideas

   discuss how a historical style and movement influences the
   production of contemporary visual communications

   use visual communication production terminology to
   describe and analyse contemporary and historical
   examples of the visual communication


You will need to demonstrate knowledge of

   the ways in which information and ideas are communicated
   visually

   the influence of a historical style and movement on
   contemporary visual communications

   the influence of cultural and historical factors, such as
   fashion, social issues and values, on contemporary and
   historical examples of visual communications
